With the encouragement and support of his parents, Matthew started Violin and Piano at the age of 3 years old. Since then he has studied Violin at a collegiate level and learned other instruments along the way including guitar, bass, mandolin, and voice (Baritone). He has performed in numerous groups and musical ensembles and has done session work in the Rock, Country, Jazz, and Hip-Hop/R&B genres. He currently performs in several groups and freelances on the side.
He has performed for companies and events such as The Daytona 500, Pepsi 400, Daytona Race Week, Bike Week -Daytona, Bike Week -Myrtle Beach, Pitney Bowes, IBM, State Farm Insurance, Heineken, Office Max, Brystol-Myers Squibb, McDonalds, Margaritaville, Universal Orlando, Sea World, Hard Rock, House of Blues, and Blue Martini.
Matthew Plays German, French, and Eastern European Violins with Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Strings, Zeta 5 String Jazz Electric Violin with Pirastro Flexocor Permanent Strings, Fishman Pickups, Martin Guitars, Orange Amps, and Sennheiser Wireless Equipment.
